We, at Business Solution Providers, get these questions ALL THE TIME.  Although QuickBooks is an intuitive, easy to use software package, actions by untrained people can lead to miss-matched transactions, billing errors and error-filled reports.  Or, as we simply like to put it, “Under the covers, QuickBooks is still an accounting package; treat it like one.”

Therefore, we use the term Data File Analysis to describe our service to analyze your file from a bookkeeping standpoint, an accounting and GAAP standpoint, and a data-structure standpoint.  We look for errors in the input process, basic errors in file setup and for any data corruption.  We cover everything, including AP & AR, sales tax, payroll, lists, 1099s, financial reporting, fixed assets, and more!

In the end, we’ll provide you with a 7-8 page report detailing what’s Good, what’s Bad, and what’s downright Ugly.  And, we will provide you with the answers on how to fix any errors.

How does the process work?

You send our team a portable copy of your QuickBooks through the secure service, “Send This File” located on our "File Upload" page.  The file is encrypted and only goes to us.  (Alternatively, we can pick up the file from you and put it on portable media, such as a memory stick).  You continue to work on your copy of QuickBooks.

We will spend approximately 2 days reviewing your file by going over all areas of QuickBooks.  Afterward, we will provide you with a confidential report of our findings, including ways to correct errors and improve your process engineering.

How much does it cost?

The cost is $360.
